Which Word files work?

.docx files from Word 2007 or later, Google Docs (File → Download → Microsoft Word) and WPS or LibreOffice. For old .doc files, open and save them as .docx first.

What is the difference between the two download options?

Download PDF makes the PDF straight away and works on every device. Print / Save as PDF opens your browser's print window; choose "Save as PDF" there to get a PDF whose text can be selected and searched.

Will it look exactly like Word?

Text, headings, bold and italic, colours, alignment, lists, tables and pictures are kept. Text boxes, columns, headers, footers and footnotes are not yet supported, and fonts you don't have installed are replaced with similar ones.

Does it work with Hindi?

Yes, for Unicode Hindi (Mangal, Nirmala UI, Kokila). Documents typed in Kruti Dev only show correctly if the Kruti Dev font is installed on your device.
