About this tool
This summariser scores every sentence by how many of the text's most important words it contains, then keeps the highest-scoring ones in their original order. Because it only selects sentences that are already there, it never adds facts or changes meaning.
That makes it a reliable way to preview a long paper, revise from notes, or find the passages worth quoting. It works best on English prose.
Questions
Does it rewrite the text?
No. It selects the most important sentences exactly as written. It's an extractive summariser, so nothing is invented.
How long should the text be?
At least a few paragraphs. It works best on articles of 500 words or more.
Can I use the summary in my assignment?
Use it to understand and plan. The sentences are the original author's words, so if you include them in your work, quote and cite them.
