Will the Word file look exactly like the PDF?
The text, headings, paragraphs, lists and bold text are kept so the document is easy to edit. Complex layouts such as multi-column pages, tables and text boxes become simple paragraphs. Choose "Add a picture of each page" if you also need the original look for reference.
My PDF is a scan or photo. Why is the Word file empty?
Scanned PDFs contain pictures of text, not text. Turn on "Add a picture of each page" to put the scans in Word, or use OCR PDF first to make the text readable.
Does it work with Hindi PDFs?
Yes, for PDFs made with Unicode Hindi fonts such as Mangal or Nirmala UI. PDFs made with Kruti Dev or APS fonts give English-looking letters; convert those with our Kruti Dev to Unicode tool.
Is my PDF uploaded?
No. The conversion happens in your browser.
