About this tool
The checker reads the directive word in the question, such as critically examine, discuss or comment, and checks whether your answer does what it asks: both sides, a verdict, examples or a way forward. It checks the word limit, whether there is an introduction, distinct body points and a conclusion, and finds value additions such as data, constitutional Articles, committees, reports, judgments and schemes.
It scores how well the answer is written, not whether its facts are correct, so treat the score as feedback on presentation and structure rather than a prediction of exam marks. Full AI evaluation of content, including handwritten answers, is coming soon.
Questions
Is this the same as UPSC marks?
No. The writing score out of 100 rates how the answer is written: directive, structure, word limit, value additions and balance. The marks range is an estimate of what the answer could get if its facts are accurate, because examiners mark mainly on content, which this free tool can't check.
Does it work for Hindi medium answers?
Yes. It understands Hindi directive words such as आलोचनात्मक परीक्षण and विवेचना, finds Hindi value additions, and gives feedback in Hindi. You can switch the feedback language at any time.
Can I upload my handwritten answer?
You can, but free OCR reads handwriting poorly. Check and correct the text it reads, or type the answer for accurate feedback. Full AI evaluation will read handwriting properly.
