Frequently asked questions
Is this PDF to EPUB converter free?
Yes. PDFs of up to 20 pages convert free with no sign-up and no watermark. For longer books and high-quality images, get LMPure Premium.
Is my PDF uploaded anywhere?
No. Everything runs inside your browser, so your file never leaves your computer or phone. You can even disconnect from the internet after the page loads.
Can I read the EPUB on my Kindle?
Yes. Use Amazon's "Send to Kindle" (app, website or email) to send the EPUB, and Amazon converts it for your Kindle. Choose Reflowable text for the best result.
Reflowable or fixed layout: which should I choose?
Reflowable extracts the text so it wraps and resizes on small screens, which suits books, notes and articles. Fixed layout keeps each page exactly as designed, which suits scanned books, magazines, comics and pages with complex tables or diagrams.
Why does my Hindi text look garbled?
Some older PDFs use non-Unicode fonts such as Kruti Dev or Chanakya, which can't be extracted as readable text. Use Fixed layout for those files, or convert the text with our Kruti Dev to Unicode tool.
Are images inside the PDF included?
In fixed layout, everything is kept. In reflowable mode, the text is extracted, and pages that contain only images (such as scans or full-page figures) are kept as pictures.
