How to use the crop PDF
- Select a PDF.
- Drag the box over the area to keep, or tap Trim white margins.
- Choose which pages to crop and tap Crop PDF.
Questions
Does cropping make the file smaller?
Not much. Cropping hides the area outside the box but keeps the page content, so text stays selectable and sharp. To reduce size, use Compress PDF afterwards.
What does "Trim white margins" do?
It finds where the printed content ends on the page you are viewing and sets the crop box just outside it. Useful for reading notes on a phone.
Can I crop pages differently?
Yes. Set the box for one page and choose "This page only", then move to another page and repeat. Each crop is saved in turn; download when finished.
