How do I type आ, ई and ऊ?
Double the vowel: aa = आ / ा, ee or ii = ई / ी, oo or uu = ऊ / ू. For example "kitaab" = किताब and "pooja" = पूजा.
How do I type ं (bindu) and ँ (chandrabindu)?
Type capital M for ं and MM for ँ, as in "saMvidhaan" = संविधान. An "n" before a consonant becomes ं automatically, so "rang" = रंग.
How do I type ड़, ढ़, ऋ and ष?
R = ड़, Rh = ढ़, rri = ऋ / ृ (as in "krripa" = कृपा), Sh = ष. See the full chart below the tool.
A word came out wrong. How do I fix it?
Press backspace straight after the word changes and you get your English letters back. You can then edit them, or click letters on the Hindi keyboard.
