Questions
What does "age as on" mean in a notification?
The board counts your age on one fixed date, called the cut-off date (for example 1 August 2026). Enter that date in "Age as on" rather than today's date.
How is age relaxation added?
Relaxation raises the upper age limit only. For example, with a 27-year limit, OBC (+3) candidates are eligible up to 30 and SC/ST (+5) up to 32. Check your notification, as some posts differ.
Is a person born on the cut-off date eligible?
It depends on the wording. Most notifications say "born not earlier than" and "not later than" two dates, and both dates are included. The born-between range shown here includes both ends.
