How do I calculate marks percentage?
Add the marks you got in all subjects, divide by the total maximum marks, and multiply by 100. For 412 out of 500: 412 ÷ 500 × 100 = 82.4%.
Is "best of five" supported?
Yes. Tick "Best of 5" in the marks calculator and it uses your five highest-scoring subjects.
What is the difference between percent and percentage points?
If a cut-off rises from 40% to 45%, it went up 5 percentage points, but that is a 12.5% increase in the cut-off itself.
