About this tool

Fix a spelling mistake, change a date or a name, fill in a form that has no boxes, black out personal details, highlight important lines or add a photo or stamp — all without installing software. Text in English is saved as real, searchable text in standard fonts. Hindi and other scripts are saved as a sharp picture of the text so the letters always appear correctly.

When you change existing text, the old words are covered with the page’s own background colour and your new text is placed on top in a matching size. This works well on normal documents; on pages with patterned or photo backgrounds the cover may be visible.

Questions

Can I change the existing text in my PDF?

Yes. Choose Edit text and click the words you want to change. The old words are covered with the page’s background colour and you type the new text in the same place and size.

Can I type in Hindi?

Yes. Type or paste Hindi (Unicode) in a text box. Hindi and other scripts are saved as a sharp picture of the text so the letters always look right.

Is my PDF uploaded?

No. The editor runs in your browser, so the file is opened and saved on your own device.

Why does the original text still exist underneath?

A browser can’t safely rewrite the fonts inside a PDF, so changed text is covered rather than deleted. It looks the same when printed or viewed. To remove hidden text completely, print the edited PDF to a new PDF.
