PDF to Audio
Listen to notes, books and documents instead of reading them. Hindi and English voices, with each sentence highlighted as it's read. Nothing is uploaded.
Tip: click any sentence to start reading from there. Space = play/pause. For the most natural free voices (including Hindi "Swara"), open this page in Microsoft Edge.
Create an MP3 audiobook with natural AI voices. Everything runs on your device. The first time you use a voice, it downloads once (about 60 MB) and is then saved in your browser.
Tip: for long books, create one file per chapter (e.g. pages 1–20, 21–40). Speed depends on your device: a laptop typically makes 1 hour of audio in 10–30 minutes. Keep this tab open while it works.

Frequently asked questions
Is PDF to Audio free?
Yes. Listening to the first 20 pages of any PDF is free. Premium unlocks all pages and MP3 downloads.
Can it read Hindi PDFs?
Yes, if your device has a Hindi voice. Most Android phones, Google Chrome and Microsoft Edge include one. Edge's "Microsoft Swara" voice sounds the most natural. The PDF must contain Unicode Hindi text. Scanned pages and old fonts like Kruti Dev can't be read; convert them first with our Kruti Dev to Unicode tool.
Why can't I download the audio on the free plan?
The free player uses your device's built-in voices, which browsers don't allow to be saved as a file. Premium MP3s are made with a separate AI voice engine that runs on your device.
Are MP3 downloads available in Hindi?
Not yet. The downloadable AI voices are currently English only. Hindi PDFs can be listened to with the free player using your device's Hindi voice.
It's not reading anything. What should I do?
Check the volume, and that your browser has voices installed (on Windows: Settings → Time & language → Speech; on Android: Settings → Text-to-speech). If the page shows "no readable text", your PDF is a scanned image.
